Academies Show London 2018

Our team attended the Academies Show on the 25th April this year.

Our team arrived on the previous day (24th April) and set up our exhibitor stand area. Mike Payne our wonderful Operations Manager “popped up” our pop-up stand and generously lugged all our supplies to the ExCel in London as we did have a lot of printed material as well as our “Campion Seeds” which were handed out to our visitors to plant in their school gardens.

An early rise and shine was needed on the 25th and all the team met up at 7.30am. The Academies Show opened to visitors at 9am and we were all pretty much on the go from then on talking to as many people as possible and also walking around the show ourselves to see who was exhibiting and what services they had to offer. This was quite interesting as we were able to see other companies offering similar services to us and also some providers who may have services that could compliment ours.

One of the guest speakers was David Carter, National Schools Commissioner who presented an excellent keynote speech on behalf of the Department for Education.

We had a very good location for our stand and interacted with a numerous amount of people throughout the day and had some quite interesting discussions.

We are now looking to exhibit at various regional events in London and the Home Counties area the first of which will be the Waltham Forest and Redbridge School Business Professionals conference held on the 3rd July so hopefully, we will get to speak to more interesting and wonderful people.

In our view, it was a positive experience for us both as individuals and as a company and has helped to raise our company profile and brand awareness.
