Teachers’ Pay and Pensions Grants

Nov 24, 2020 | Recruitment Posts

From 2021 to 2022, funding for both the 2018 and 2019 teachers’ pay awards and the increase in employers’ pension costs from 16.4% to 23.6% in September 2019 will be paid through the schools and high needs national funding formulae (NFF), instead of as separate grants.

The DfE has published details which indicate the additional funding schools will attract through the NFF is as close as possible to the funding they would have received for these two grants had they continued separately.
