The national funding formula is used by the government to decide how much funding to allocate for mainstream, state-funded schools in England.

You can now find out how much funding a school would receive if the national funding formula was followed locally.

How it works

The service does not tell you what funding a school will actually receive, as final funding allocations are decided by local authorities.

The funding allocations are for 5 to 16 year olds.
